Anyone might feel that in the field of genetics, a book written in 1999 would be very out of date. But this is a classic which explains the science of genetics in ways which are easy for an average reader to understand.

It is true that there are some long words in some paragraphs but I found them easy to gloss over without losing the sense of the text.

If youíre interested in designer babies, Frankenstein foods or modern medical research, this is a book you canít afford to miss. A classic which will surely stand the test of time.
